  30.    The first thing you want to know is:
  31.  
  32.   "How many users need modems, and how often will they need them?"
  33.  
  34.    If ten or less need/use modems quite often, give them their own modems,
  35. as the cost will be lower than dedicating a cpu as a modem server.  You
  36. might even be eable to stretch that to 15 users, depending on the price
  37. your quoted on quantity purchase of the modems.  This will also remove
  38. the modem load from the server, *but*, if in the future you expect more
  39. and more people to need/use modems, and use them for short periods, you
  40. might want to go with the server idea.

  42.    The important thing to keep in mind here is the number of users <50>,
  43. and the Demand Load on the servers.  Do you have slow periods more than
  44. 5 to 8 times per week?  Per day?  If per day, you need to increase server
  45. power, and that might be a way to justify a server with modem capabilities.
